Commercial Solicitor — Private Practice in Cheshire

Job Description A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an In-house Commercial Solicitor to join a highly successful retail business in Cheshire. Working as part of a growing legal team, you will provide commercially focused legal support across a wide range of business-critical matters, gaining exposure to senior stakeholders and high-profile projects. The In-house Commercial Solicitor will be: Providing legal support across the business and wider group on a broad range of commercial matters. Drafting, reviewing, negotiating and advising on commercial agreements, including framework agreements, IT contracts and trademark licences. Advising on marketing initiatives, regulatory compliance, consumer law considerations and data protection matters. Supporting the resolution of disputes and managing legal risk in partnership with internal stakeholders. The In-house Commercial Solicitor should be: Experienced in drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts. Able to provide practical, commercially focused legal advice to non-legal stakeholders. Knowledgeable in data protection, intellectual property and regulatory compliance matters. Experience of litigation, consumer law and corporate law would be advantageous but is not essential. A strong communicator with excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
