Description
The In House Litigation Solicitor will be:
- Managing a portfolio of defendant litigation matters from pre action through to resolution, including higher value and complex claims
- Advising on legal strategy, risk, settlement opportunities and compliance with court deadlines and procedural requirements
- Working closely with paralegals, managers and senior stakeholders to ensure effective outcomes and excellent client service
- Supporting legal operations initiatives, process improvements, reporting and the development of best practice documentation
- Contributing to colleague development through mentoring, feedback and knowledge sharing
Profile
The In House Litigation Solicitor should be:
- A Solicitor or CILEX lawyer with litigation practice rights
- Experienced in litigation with a strong understanding of the Civil Procedure Rules
- Comfortable managing a varied caseload with minimal supervision
- Commercially aware and confident communicating with stakeholders at different levels
- Interested in legal technology, process improvement and modern ways of working
Job Offer
- Competitive salary between Β£40,000 and Β£50,000, dependent on the level of experience.
