Description
- Providing expert and strategic compliance advice to the firm’s new business team
- Assisting the office of the general counsel in a wide range of areas including AML, conflicts, regulatory and ethical risks for all new matters and clients
- Designing and implementing conflicts and compliance training for both the UK and US offices
- Acting as a senior point of contact for compliance queries from the new business team and fee-earners
- Assisting with the development and implementation of the firm’s compliance policy and procedures
Profile
A successful ‘Associate General Counsel’ should have:
- A qualified lawyer with experience in a similar role in a law firm setting
- Strong knowledge of conflicts and AML regulations in England and Wales
- Experience in dealing with new business matters at a large International law firm
