OGC Lawyer - Compliance & Intake EMEA

An international law firm is seeking a qualified lawyer to join its Office of the General Counsel team in London. This role focuses on compliance, client onboarding, engagement terms, risk management and intake matters across the EMEA region, working closely with partners, clients and senior business stakeholders. Description Reporting into the General Counsel function, you will support the firm's compliance and intake operations across EMEA, providing legal and commercial guidance on a wide range of risk-related matters. Key responsibilities include: Reviewing and negotiating outside counsel guidelines (OCGs), RFPs, codes of conduct and client engagement terms. Acting as a key liaison between partners, business services teams and client stakeholders on compliance and contractual matters Advising on client onboarding, matter opening processes and associated risk considerations.
