Description
Reporting to the Head of Legal UK, this role will include the following responsibilities:
- Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements, including services, consultancy, confidentiality and collaboration arrangements.
- Manage a range of contentious matters, including medical claims, complaints, litigation, inquests and dispute resolution.
- Advise the business on legal and commercial risk, providing practical recommendations and supporting compliant decision-making.
- Provide legal support on pharmaceutical matters, including agreements, compliance requirements, conflicts of interest and associated risks.
- Advise on data privacy, including UK GDPR, data sharing, confidentiality and privacy risk assessments.
Profile
A successful Legal Counsel should have:
- A qualified solicitor in the UK or other relevant jurisdiction
- Experience in handling legal matters within the life science industry.
- Strong understanding of contract law and regulatory compliance.
- Experience of handling disputes & litigation would be highly beneficial
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- The ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
