Description
The Employment Legal Director will be:
* Providing commercially focused employment advice to a broad range of clients
* Advising company owners, senior management, HR professionals and in house legal teams
* Advising public and private sector organisations, senior employees and executives
* Handling a broad range of employment matters including disciplinary issues, grievances, dismissals, redundancy and restructuring
* Advising on Employment Tribunal claims, including whistle-blowing and discrimination matters
* Drafting and reviewing employment documentation and providing practical strategic advice
* Working on corporate transactions, including advising on TUPE matters
* Assisting with employment investigations and other complex workplace issues
* Building and maintaining strong, long term client relationships
- * Supervising junior lawyers, trainees and paralegals within the team
Profile
The Employment Legal Director should be:
* A solicitor with 7+ years PQE plus in employment law
* Experienced across both contentious and non contentious employment matters
* Strong experience advising employers and senior stakeholders
* Experienced in Employment Tribunal matters, including discrimination and whistle-blowing claims
* Advising on restructures, redundancies, dismissals and TUPE
* Commercially minded with excellent technical and client management skills
* A strong communicator who can build trusted relationships with clients
* Comfortable supervising and developing junior members of the team

Job Offer
- Salary ranging from Β£85,000 to Β£95,000
