An exciting opportunity has arisen for an In House Litigation Solicitor in Sheffield to join a bank on a fixed term basis. You will advise on litigation, disputes, governance and contentious matters while working closely with senior stakeholders across the business. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with around 4 years PQE or more who is looking to move in house and gain broad commercial exposure within a purpose driven organisation. Client Details Our client is a nationally significant, government backed economic development institution with a clear purpose: helping drive sustainable economic growth and supporting businesses across the UK. Description The In House Litigation Solicitor will be: Providing legal advice and support on litigation, disputes and potential legal challenges across the organisation. Advising on appropriate governance, escalation and risk management processes. Providing advice on contentious matters within a financial services environment. Working with senior stakeholders and business teams with practical, commercially focused legal advice. Providing legal input to Product, Risk and Compliance, Policy, Strategy, Economics, Finance and Procurement teams. Advising on Freedom of Information requests, including challenges involving the ICO or First Tier Tribunal.
