Job Description Develop and implement a company-wide learning and development strategy aligned to business objectives and workforce capability requirements.

Design and oversee career and development pathways for employees at all levels, supporting both operational excellence and long-term talent development.

Lead, coach and develop a geographically dispersed training team, ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery and a high-performance culture.

Manage the planning, coordination and delivery of training programmes across multiple sites, balancing business needs and resource availability.

Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders to identify skills gaps, support workforce planning, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Ensure all mandatory, compliance and role-specific training requirements are effectively delivered and monitored.

Oversee the maintenance of training records, reporting, metrics and compliance data, providing regular insights to senior leadership.

Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of learning initiatives, using data and business outcomes to drive improvements and demonstrate return on investment.

Manage training budgets and resources effectively, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, maximise value and enhance the learner experience.

Promote a culture of continuous learning, professional development, safety and operational excellence across the organisation.

The Successful Applicant A successful National Training Manager should have: Experience in designing and delivering training programmes.

Strong knowledge of compliance and industry standards.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Ability to assess training needs and measure outcomes effectively.

Strong organisational and project management skills.

Ability to influence at the highest levels of the business.

Strong people management experience across a multi-site structure.
