About Our Client This opportunity is within a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to delivering meaningful contributions in its sector. Job DescriptionManage the organisation's financial operations, including budgeting and forecasting.
Prepare accurate financial reports and present them to stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and policies.
Oversee payroll and other day-to-day financial processes.
Collaborate with leadership to support strategic financial planning.
Monitor cash flow and financial performance to meet organisational goals.
Manage relationships with external auditors and financial institutions.
Provide leadership to the finance team, ensuring effective operations. The Successful Applicant EssentialFully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA or equivalent).Significant experience in a senior finance leadership role.
Strong commercial and strategic financial management skills. Experience of budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and audit management.
Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Proven ability to lead and develop teams. High levels of integrity, professionalism, and discretion.
Strong IT and financial systems skills. DesirableExperience within education, independent schools, charities, not-for-profit organisations, or public sector environments.
Understanding of school governance and regulatory frameworks.
Experience overseeing broader business services functions beyond finance.
Knowledge of facilities, procurement, HR, or operational management.
What's on OfferSalary ranging from 70,000 to 90,000, dependent on the level of experience.
