In this role you will partner with business leaders to shape and implement HR strategies that support objectives in a global, matrixed energy and infrastructure context. You will advise on employee relations and ensure regulatory compliance while driving workforce planning and organisational development. You will support change management, deliver generalist HR activities, and use HR data to inform strategic decisions and boost engagement. This position offers a meaningful, cross-functional impact across a leading international engineering firm driving the energy transition.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Provide expert advice on employee relations and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Partner with managers on workforce planning and organisational development needs
  • Support change management initiatives in a global, matrixed environment
  • Deliver HR generalist support including performance management, talent development, and succession planning
  • Analyse HR data to inform strategic decisions and improve employee engagement
  • Ensure consistency of HR practices across the organisation while adapting to local requirements
  • Collaborate with global teams to align HR initiatives and share best practices

Key requirements

  • Proven experience in an HR business partner or generalist role, preferably in industrial or manufacturing settings
  • Strong expertise in employee relations and strategic HR initiatives
  • Experience working in a global, matrixed organisation
  • Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • Excellent analytical skills to interpret HR data and drive decisions
  • Up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation and best practices
