Job Description As Production Manager, you will support the day-to-day operation of a large-scale processing facility, ensuring production targets, safety standards, quality requirements, and operational KPIs are consistently achieved.Working closely with the site leadership team, you will play a key role in driving continuous improvement initiatives, supporting frontline teams, and helping to create a positive, high-performing culture across the operation.Key responsibilities include:Supporting the safe and efficient running of production operations.Monitoring production, quality, and efficiencies.Driving continuous improvement projects focused on productivity, reliability, safety, and quality.Working closely with maintenance and engineering teams to maximise plant performance.Assisting with workforce planning, resource allocation, and employee development.Analysing operational data and identifying opportunities for improvement.Supporting the development of operational procedures and best practice standards.Contributing to a culture of accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence.The Successful Applicant We're looking for an ambitious and driven individual who has developed a strong foundation within a manufacturing, processing, recycling, aggregates or similar industrial environment and is now ready to take the next step in their career.The successful Production Manager will demonstrate:A strong grounding within a relevant manufacturing or materials processing environment.A technical mindset with the ability to quickly understand plant, equipment, and production processes.Strong emotional intelligence and excellent people skills.Experience supporting, supervising, mentoring, or leading operational teams.A genuine desire to build a long-term career in operations leadership.Proven continuous improvement knowledge with demonstrable examples of delivering operational improvements.A data-driven approach to problem solving and performance management.Good knowledge of health, safety, and environmental best practice.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.The energy, ambition, and potential to grow within the role and progress into more senior leadership positions over time.Desirable qualifications and experience include:A technical / engineering qualification or relevant experience.ILM, NVQ, or other supervisory/management qualifications.Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM, Kaizen, or other continuous improvement methodologies.Experience working within ISO-accredited environments.Exposure to large-scale processing equipment or automated production facilities.What's on OfferCompetitive salary and package Opportunity to build a career in operational leadership
