Job Description

The Commercial Litigation NQ Solicitor will be:

  • Managing a varied caseload of commercial litigation matters with appropriate supervision
  • Assisting on high value corporate and commercial disputes
  • Working on shareholder and partnership dispute cases
  • Advising on banking and financial services litigation matters
  • Assisting with contentious probate claims
  • Drafting court documents, pleadings and correspondence
  • Conducting legal research and preparing case strategies
  • Attending client meetings, mediations and court hearings
  • Building strong relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Working with senior lawyers on significant national and international disputes

The Successful Applicant

The Commercial Litigation NQ Solicitor should be / have:

  • A solicitor at NQ level or a trainee solicitor due to qualify in 2026
  • Experienced through a litigation seat completed during a training contract
  • Genuinely interested in commercial litigation and dispute resolution
  • An excellent communicator with strong drafting skills
  • Commercially aware with a proactive approach to problem solving
  • Keen to develop within a specialist boutique disputes practice
