Job Description

Provide strategic leadership for the strategic asset & investment team, to contribute to the achievement of strategic priorities to deliver high quality services that include: Lead accountability for the 25m annual capital programme Lead accountability for developing the capital programme for the HRA 30 year business planLead accountability for ensuring the accurate and timely condition surveying of 1bn stock portfolioLead accountability in developing and leading the delivery of Building Safety, Decent Homes, Zero Carbon and Environmental Works for 1bn portfolioLead officer in developing the council's HRA strategic asset management and investment strategy and programme, working in partnership with the political and senior executive, partners, contractors and residents.

The Successful Applicant A successful Interim Head of Asset Management Investment should have: Significant social housing knowledge and understanding of public services delivered at a place level and the structural, legislative and policy context within which these services operate.

An understanding of the national and regional policy context for local government and social housingPrevious managerial experience within a social housing environmentWhat's on OfferDaily rate of 500/dayTemporary contract offering a challenging and rewarding role in the public sector.
