Job Description Preparation of statutory accounts, financial reports, consolidations and disclosures under a range of reporting and accounting standards (IFRS, UK GAAP (FRS 102 and FRS 101), and the Charities SORP).

Oversee month-end and year-end financial close processes.

Collaborate with the audit team re queries and to finalise statutory accounts as part of the audit process.

Provide technical accounting guidance to support decision-making processes.

Monitor and analyse financial data to identify trends and variances.

Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements in financial reporting.

Support external audits by preparing documentation and responding to queries.

Develop and implement policies to enhance financial reporting standards.

The Successful Applicant A successful Financial Reporting Manager should have: A professional qualification in accounting, such as ACA, ACCA, or equivalent.

Strong technical knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulations.

Experience of preparing full sets of statutory accounts in a professional services environment.

Experience of different accounting standards to include IFRS, UK GAAP, and Charity SORP).

Experienced in preparing consolidations for large international groups.

Able to correctly account for the acquisition and/or disposals of subsidiaries and group reconstructions.

Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

Attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines.

Proficiency in financial software and reporting tools.
