Overview

In this role you will support the public sector organisation in West London with robust financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to explain financial performance, forecast needs, and advise senior management. This position focuses on strengthening financial controls, preparing annual accounts, and supporting audits, contributing to transparent, data‑driven decision making. Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse financial reports to support decision-making processes
• Manage budgets and provide accurate forecasts for financial planning
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies
• Provide insights on financial performance and identify areas for improvement
• Assist in the preparation of annual accounts and financial statements
• Collaborate with various departments to monitor and control expenditure

Key requirements

• Strong background in accounting and finance, ideally within Income and Debt functions
• Proficiency in analysing financial data and preparing detailed reports
• Good knowledge of relevant financial regulations and compliance requirements
• Experience in managing budgets and providing accurate financial forecasts
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with stakeholders and senior management
