You lead a six-month transformation programme for a high-profile UK charity, turning ambitious plans into measurable delivery. You work with senior leaders to establish governance and clear progress, risks, and outcomes. Responsibilities
- Assess current transformation portfolio, delivery capability, and performance
- Translate objectives into a prioritised six-month plan with milestones and accountabilities
- Set up governance, reporting cycles, escalation routes and change controls
- Create and maintain an integrated programme plan, roadmap, RAID log, and dependency map
- Clarify roles across senior leaders, teams and enabling functions
- Define KPIs and dashboards for service, operational, financial, and delivery performance
- Produce clear, decision-focused reporting for executive and governance meetings
- Identify risks and obstacles and propose practical interventions
- Facilitate reviews, planning sessions and senior stakeholder workshops
- Coordinate interdependent workstreams while preserving ownership with internal leaders
- Use data and insight to identify improvement opportunities
- Support initiatives around data foundations, BI, technology, AI, systems and operating-model development
- Strengthen internal programme management capability through coaching and templates
- Build alignments while challenging weak ownership
- Develop handover and sustainability plan for post-assignment impact
