Job Description
- Assist with the preparation and processing of monthly payrolls
- Support payroll audits and validation checks to ensure data accuracy
- Manage payroll-related queries, providing a high level of customer service
- Process starters, leavers, transfers and contractual changes
- Calculate pro-rated salary payments and other payroll adjustments
- Support annual salary reviews and bonus payments
- Administer statutory leave and payroll-related benefits
- Assist with pension administration and payroll reconciliations
- Produce payroll reporting for Finance and internal stakeholders
- Support tax-related payroll activities and year-end processes
- Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation
- Contribute to payroll projects, process improvements and system enhancements
- Ensure compliance with relevant payroll legislation and internal policies
The Successful Applicant
- Previous experience within payroll administration, ideally 3+ years
- Experience processing payroll within a medium or large organisation
- Strong Excel and data management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
