Due to continued demand within the team, they are looking to bring in an experienced finance associate, initially on a temporary basis. Job Description The successful Fund Finance / Leveraged Finance Associate will join a high-performing finance team and work on a broad range of sophisticated financing transactions.Depending on experience, the role will involve:Advising on fund finance and leveraged finance transactionsActing for lenders, sponsors, funds and corporate borrowersWorking across complex domestic and cross-border financing mattersDrafting, reviewing and negotiating finance documentsManaging transactions and coordinating with clients, counterparties and counselWorking closely with partners and senior lawyers on high-value mandatesTaking responsibility for transactions appropriate to PQE and experienceThe position is initially being offered on a temporary contract, although there is a genuine possibility of the role becoming permanent. The Successful Applicant The successful candidate will ideally:Be a qualified solicitor with 3+ years' PQEHave experience in fund finance and/or leveraged financeHave trained and/or qualified with a strong City, international or US law firmHave experience handling sophisticated financing transactionsDemonstrate strong drafting, negotiation and transaction-management skillsBe comfortable working within a fast-paced, high-performing environmentBe available or able to become available for a temporary opportunityCandidates with a particularly strong background in either fund finance or leveraged finance are encouraged to apply.
