Looking for a website and performance lead to join a high growth investment firm. This role will own and cope the website and performance marketing strategy.

About Our Client: The client is a rapidly scaling and credible investment platform who are looking to hire someone into their digital team in London. This is a newly created role reflecting the growing importance of the website as a core business platform for product discovery, investor education, campaign activation, lead generation and brand credibility.

The successful candidate will manage and optimise the company website, ensuring it is accurate, well-structured, commercially useful and aligned with business priorities. A key focus will be improving visibility across SEO, AI search and Generative Engine Optimisation/GEO, ensuring the brand, its funds and its investment themes are discoverable and well represented across search engines and answer engines.

Key responsibilities of the Digital Marketing Manager role:

  • Own the day-to-day management, optimisation and performance of the company website.
  • Manage website updates, landing pages, fund pages, educational content and campaign pages.
  • Work with marketing, content, research, product, sales, compliance and external agencies to ensure website content is accurate, compliant and effective.
  • Improve website navigation, user journeys, accessibility, mobile experience, page speed and conversion pathways.
  • Lead SEO activity across technical SEO, on-page optimisation, content optimisation and organic search reporting.
  • Monitor and improve rankings for key strategic terms across the brand, ETFs, ETCs, thematic investing, active ETFs, commodities and other priority investment themes.
  • Identify search-led content opportunities and optimise existing content to improve visibility and engagement.
  • Lead the company's approach to AI search and GEO, including monitoring how the business, funds and themes appear in AI-generated search results.
  • Ensure content is structured to support discoverability by AI platforms, including clear explanations, FAQs, structured data and authoritative source material.
  • Own website and search performance reporting, using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Looker Studio and other relevant platforms.
  • Build clear insight on website traffic, engagement, rankings, conversions and content effectiveness.
  • Support product launches, issuer campaigns and marketing activity with high-performing website journeys.
  • Stay up to date with developments in SEO, AI search, GEO and changing digital behaviour.

The Successful Applicant:

Essential:

  • Experience managing and optimising websites, ideally in B2B, financial services, asset management or professional services.
  • Good working knowledge of SEO, including technical SEO, on-page SEO and content optimisation.
  • Experience using Google Analytics, Google Search Console and other digital performance tools.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn data into practical recommendations.
  • Excellent attention to detail, especially when working with regulated or technical content.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and confidence working with senior colleagues.
  • Ability to manage agencies and external digital partners.
  • Excellent written communication skills and an understanding of how to structure content for clarity, search and conversion.
  • Comfortable managing website tracking requirements, including Google Tag Manager, GA4, pixels and third-party scripts.

Preferred:

  • Experience in asset management, ETFs or wider financial services.
  • Experience with CMS platforms, CRM systems and marketing automation tools.
  • Understanding of AI search, GEO, Google AI Overviews or answer engine optimisation.
  • Knowledge of HTML, structured data/schema markup, UX or conversion rate optimisation.
  • Experience supporting product launches, investment campaigns or lead-generation activity.
  • Basic understanding of HTML, JavaScript, consent tools and how tracking scripts interact with websites.
