Job Description

  • Advising on a broad range of commercial property matters including development, investment and corporate occupier work
  • Managing and developing relationships with existing clients across Yorkshire and the wider region
  • Acting for developers, investors, corporate occupiers and private clients on complex transactions
  • Helping the continued growth and strategic development of the Commercial Property team
  • Working closely with the Head of Property on departmental initiatives and business planning
  • Identifying and securing new business opportunities through networking and relationship building
  • Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers within the team
  • Providing commercially focused legal advice tailored to client objectives
  • Contributing to the firm's wider business development and marketing activities
  • Maintaining the highest standards of client service and technical excellence

The Successful Applicant

  • A solicitor with significant post qualification experience, likely operating at Partner level already
  • Experienced in handling a broad range of commercial property matters including development and investment work
  • Skilled in managing client relationships and delivering commercially focused advice
  • Able to demonstrate an existing network of contacts and business development capability
  • Experienced in winning, retaining and growing client relationships
  • Prior experience of mentoring team members
  • Commercially aware with strong strategic thinking skills
  • Motivated to play a key role in the continued growth of a successful team

What's on Offer
