Job Description
- Advising on a broad range of commercial property matters including development, investment and corporate occupier work
- Managing and developing relationships with existing clients across Yorkshire and the wider region
- Acting for developers, investors, corporate occupiers and private clients on complex transactions
- Helping the continued growth and strategic development of the Commercial Property team
- Working closely with the Head of Property on departmental initiatives and business planning
- Identifying and securing new business opportunities through networking and relationship building
- Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers within the team
- Providing commercially focused legal advice tailored to client objectives
- Contributing to the firm's wider business development and marketing activities
- Maintaining the highest standards of client service and technical excellence
The Successful Applicant
- A solicitor with significant post qualification experience, likely operating at Partner level already
- Experienced in handling a broad range of commercial property matters including development and investment work
- Skilled in managing client relationships and delivering commercially focused advice
- Able to demonstrate an existing network of contacts and business development capability
- Experienced in winning, retaining and growing client relationships
- Prior experience of mentoring team members
- Commercially aware with strong strategic thinking skills
- Motivated to play a key role in the continued growth of a successful team
