Overview
In this Credit Controller role, you will own the full credit control function to protect cash flow and supportSales growth. You will manage the sales ledger, monitor accounts, and take proactive steps to recover overdue payments. You’ll partner with operations to resolve invoice queries and provide timely financial insight. This position sits at the heart of Finance, collaborating with cross-functional teams to keep projects on track and ensure accurate reporting.

Responsibilities
- Oversee full credit control process and manage the sales ledger day-to-day
- Allocate receipts accurately and handle complex reconciliations
- Monitor customer accounts for overdue balances and chase outstanding invoices
- Issue monthly statements and payment reminders with a professional approach
- Resolve invoice queries with cross-functional teams to keep projects on track
- Assess creditworthiness of new and existing customers and set appropriate credit limits
- Produce aged debtor reports and escalate high-risk accounts to senior management
- Support month-end and year-end finance activities to ensure data accuracy
Key requirements
- Proven experience in credit control and aged debt management
- Strong relationship-building and negotiation abilities

- Meticulous record-keeping and accuracy
- Organised, proactive, resilient, and able to work under pressure
