Job Description Define and execute the MGA channel strategy (target markets, business lines, and partnerships).
Identify, negotiate, and secure agreements with key MGAs across EMEA.
Oversee technical and financial performance of the portfolio (GWP, loss ratios, profitability).
Ensure adherence to underwriting, pricing, and governance standards.
Implement performance tracking frameworks (KPIs, dashboards, regular reviews).
Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Underwriting, Claims, Actuarial, Legal, Compliance).
Lead due diligence and onboarding of new MGA partners.
Design contractual frameworks and incentive schemes.
Manage operational, regulatory, and reputational risks within the channel.
Lead, develop, and scale the MGA team.
The Successful Applicant A successful Head of MGAs Europe should have: Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Law, or similar (MBA is a plus).10+ years' experience in insurance, with exposure to underwriting, distribution, or partnerships.
Strong experience with MGAs and/or broking (highly desirable).
Solid understanding of technical profitability and portfolio management.
Proven track record in negotiating complex international agreements.
Good knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks (e. g., IDD, Solvency II).
International profile with cross-border experience.
Fluent English required.
