Job Description Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with accounting standards, specifically US GAAP.
Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies.
Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts for the department.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with tax filings.
Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights and analysis.
Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit purposes.
Contribute to process improvements within the Accounting & Finance department.
The Successful Applicant A successful Financial Accountant should have: A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional accountancy qualification eg ICAS, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and regulations, specifically US GAAP - this is a non negotiable.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a temporary role within a fast-paced environment.
