Job Description The Family Solicitor will be: Advising clients on a broad range of family law matters including divorce, separation, financial provision and child-related disputes.
Managing a varied caseload of privately funded family law matters from inception through to resolution.
Representing clients in Sheriff Court proceedings and assisting with more complex Court of Session matters.
Building strong client relationships through the delivery of practical, commercially focused legal advice.
Working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver outstanding client service and contribute to the continued success of the practice.
The Successful Applicant The Family Solicitor should be: A solicitor or equivalent with 2+ years' PQE, primarily or exclusively within family law.
Experienced in managing family law matters with minimal supervision.
Comfortable appearing in court and advocating on behalf of clients.
Commercially aware with strong client relationship and business development skills.
A team player with excellent communication skills and a client-focused approach.
More experienced solicitors with an existing following or caseload are also encouraged to apply.
