Job Description
The Employment Solicitor will be:
- Advising employer clients on a broad range of employment law matters, including both contentious and non-contentious issues.
- Representing clients in Employment Tribunal and Employment Appeal Tribunal proceedings, including advocacy where appropriate.
- Supporting businesses through restructures, collective redundancies, TUPE transfers and wider workforce change projects.
- Managing their own caseload while working alongside senior lawyers on complex, high-value matters.
- Delivering training and guidance to clients while collaborating with specialists across areas including immigration, pensions, tax and corporate law.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Employment Solicitor should have:
- Qualified as a solicitor with between 2 to 5 years PQE.
- Strong knowledge of employment law and its practical application.
- Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.
- Experience in advising clients on complex legal matters.
- The ability to manage multiple cases effectively and efficiently.
- A client-focused approach with attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
