b Overview /b p In this role you will own the Tax function and lead international finance across multiple regions to ensure compliant, strategic delivery. You will strengthen governance and controls, manage tax risk, and drive data- and systems-led improvements. You will lead a transformation programme to modernise tax and international finance, working with cross-functional stakeholders and regional teams. This is a mission-driven opportunity to shape how a global organisation navigates tax, compliance and financial reporting while delivering tangible impact. /p b Pay / Benefits /b ul li Competitive package /li li 30 days holiday plus bank holidays /li li Hybrid working /li /ul b Responsibilities /b ul li Own Tax strategy, governance and risk framework across jurisdictions /li li Oversee tax filings, tax accounting outputs, and liaise with Tax authorities and regional finance managers /li li Lead topics like new country entry, permanent establishment risk, VAT optimization, transfer pricing, and international operations consequences /li li Manage international finance leadership, control environment, risk oversight, and regional finance activity across MENACA, APAC, the Americas and Africa /li li Direct the travel team for policy compliance, supplier management, and spend visibility /li li Identify process simplifications, improve workflows, and enhance tax/finance data quality and reporting /li li Build capable teams with clear objectives and succession planning /li li Raise the profile of Tax, International Finance and Travel as value-adding partners /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Recognised Tax qualification or qualified accountant with significant tax experience /li li Substantial international tax and international finance experience /li li Senior leadership experience in a complex international organisation /li li Strong knowledge of UK and International Tax and risk management across multiple jurisdictions /li li Experience in statutory reporting, audit, and local compliance across regions /li li Excellent communication and stakeholder management across Finance, HR, Legal, Payroll, Technology and leadership teams /li li Proactive, improvement-focused mindset and track record of moving functions from reactive compliance to value-added model /li /ul ul li Strong communication skills /li li Stakeholder management /li li Proactive, improvement-focused mindset /li li Tax strategy and governance /li li UK and international tax expertise /li li Transfer pricing and VAT optimization /li /ul
