Job Description Evaluate and monitor credit risk for a portfolio of financial products and clients.
Develop and implement credit risk policies and frameworks.
Conduct detailed credit analysis to identify potential risks and propose mitigation strategies.
Compile, analyse, and present portfolio‑level credit risk MI, including exposures, concentrations, trends, and early warning indicators.
Monitor compliance with the bank's credit risk policies, procedures, and approval authorities.
Monitor the quality and timeliness of credit applications submitted by the business.
Conduct regular data quality checks on credit systems to ensure accuracy of key fields (ratings, limits, collateral, covenants, review dates, etc.).
The Successful Applicant A successful Credit Risk Manager should have: Strong knowledge of credit risk principles and practices within banking and financial services.
Experience in assessing and managing credit risk in the financial services industry.
Proficiency in analysing financial statements and credit data.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
