Job Description As Manufacturing Manager, you will take responsibility for the production operation, ensuring the safe, efficient and cost-effective delivery of manufacturing targets.
Working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams, you will drive a high-performance culture focused on quality, safety, people development and operational excellence.
Leading production, hygiene and operational teams to deliver business and site KPIs.
Driving world-class manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives across the operation.
Ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, food safety, hygiene and quality compliance.
Managing labour utilisation, productivity, waste reduction and manufacturing costs.
Developing and coaching operational leaders to build capability and succession within the team.
Supporting capital investment projects, operational change programmes and business improvement activities.
Monitoring budget performance and implementing corrective actions where required.
The Successful Applicant The successful candidate will be an experienced manufacturing leader with a proven track record within food production.
You will possess the credibility and drive to influence stakeholders across the business while maintaining a relentless focus on safety, quality and performance.
Significant experience in a senior manufacturing leadership role within food manufacturing.
Strong understanding of food safety, HACCP, GMP and quality management systems.
Strong commercial awareness with budget and cost centre management experience.
Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Degree, HND or equivalent qualification, ideally within a manufacturing, food or operational discipline (advantageous)Health & Safety, Food Hygiene and HACCP qualifications would be advantageous.
