Job Description Manage a portfolio of owner-managed businesses, companies, charities and other clients.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing proactive support and advice.
Review statutory accounts prepared under relevant UK accounting frameworks.
Manage and review corporation tax returns and personal tax returns.
Plan, manage and review audit assignments (where applicable).
Monitor portfolio profitability, work-in-progress and billing.
Ensure assignments are completed accurately and within agreed deadlines.
Supervise, mentor and develop junior team members.
Identify opportunities to provide additional value-added services to clients.
Maintain high technical and professional standards in line with regulatory requirements.
The Successful Applicant ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent).
Approximately 4-5 years' post-qualification experience.
Experience managing a portfolio of clients within an accountancy practice.
Strong technical knowledge of UK accounts and tax compliance.
Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
Strong organisational and time management abilities.
Previous responsibility for portfolio management and fee recovery.
