Job DescriptionPrepare statutory accounts and support year-end audit and tax compliance activities.Complete VAT returns and ensure compliance with accounting policies, controls and procedures.Produce and review monthly management accounts across group entities.Deliver P&L reporting, balance sheet reviews and detailed variance analysis.Perform balance sheet reconciliations, general ledger reviews and treasury activities.Support budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management processes.Provide financial analysis, KPI reporting and performance insights to support decision-making.Partner with senior leadership on strategic initiatives, commercial evaluations and business performance reviews.Drive systems and process improvements, strengthen controls and reporting, and contribute to cross-functional projects.The Successful Applicant A successful Commercial Management Accountant should have:ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualification or equivalent.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.Proficiency in financial software and tools.Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.Attention to detail and a proactive approach to improving processes.What's on OfferSalary between 50,000 and 55,000, dependent on the level of experience.10% performance-based bonus.Hybrid working arrangement for greater flexibility.Competitive employer pension contribution.Permanent role with opportunities for growth in Bristol.If you're interested in this role, apply now.People are at the heart of Michael Page.
