Job Description Support the preparation of monthly management accounts across multiple business entities.
Prepare and post month-end journals, including accruals, prepayments, and other accounting adjustments.
Complete bank, balance sheet, and intercompany reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records.
Assist with the production and analysis of profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow reporting.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and reforecasting activities, providing insight into financial performance.
Monitor operational and project costs, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
Assist with cash flow management, forecasting, and reporting.
Support labour recovery and cost allocation processes across the business.
Maintain the fixed asset register and ensure accurate asset accounting.
Assist with year-end audit processes and respond to external auditor requests.
Provide ad hoc financial reporting, analysis, and support to Finance Managers and key stakeholders.
The Successful Applicant A successful Management Accountant should have: A professional accounting qualification CIMA, ACCA, ACA or QBE.
Proven experience in management accounting.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Good understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
