Job Description Key Responsibilities of the Audit Manager:Managing and delivering external audit assignments for Education clients, including academies and MATsLeading audit engagements from planning through to completion and sign-offReviewing audit work prepared by junior team members and providing guidance and mentorshipActing as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring excellent service deliveryEnsuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, audit regulations, and sector-specific requirements (e.g. ESFA guidance)Identifying opportunities to provide additional advisory services to clientsSupporting the Partners in developing and growing the Education client portfolioContributing to internal process improvements and team development initiativesThe Successful Applicant The successful candidate MUST have demonstrable experience within the Education sector and a strong technical audit background.You will:Be ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent)Have significant audit experience within an accountancy practiceHave proven experience auditing Education sector clients (essential)Possess strong knowledge of sector-specific regulations and reporting requirementsBe confident managing multiple engagements and meeting deadlinesDemonstrate excellent leadership, communication, and client-facing skillsHave a proactive and commercial approach to client serviceWhat's on OfferCompetitive salary.Able to work from their Head Office in Northwich.Opportunities for professional development and career progression.Supportive work environment with a focus on collaboration and excellence.If you are ready to take the next step in your career as an Audit Manager, apply today to join this reputable organisation in Northwich
