Job Description

This is more than a medical sales role. It's an opportunity to become a trusted partner to NHS teams, helping them improve patient outcomes through the adoption of innovative vascular access solutions. Working across acute healthcare settings, you'll engage with clinicians, procurement teams and service leaders to understand their challenges and identify opportunities to enhance clinical practice. From supporting product evaluations and service improvements to introducing technology that transforms patient care, you'll play a central role in driving both commercial success and healthcare outcomes.

You'll inherit a territory with significant opportunity and the autonomy to shape how you grow it. Success will come from building strong relationships, uncovering unmet needs and bringing together clinical expertise, commercial insight and strategic account management to create lasting value for your customers. In a market where vascular access touches the vast majority of hospitalised patients, this is a role where your influence can be seen every day, both in the care patients receive and the services healthcare teams are able to deliver.

Key areas of focus include:

  • Managing and developing key NHS accounts across the territory.
  • Building relationships with clinical, operational and procurement stakeholders.
  • Delivering territory growth against quarterly and annual targets.
  • Creating and executing robust territory and account plans.
  • Supporting product evaluations, trials and implementation activity.
  • Delivering product training and ongoing customer education.
  • Using CRM tools effectively to manage opportunities and pipeline activity.
  • Collaborating with clinical and commercial colleagues to secure account conversions and long-term partnerships.
  • Analysing sales performance and market trends to identify growth opportunities.

The Successful Applicant

You will be an accomplished healthcare sales professional with a proven track record of delivering growth within NHS accounts. Comfortable operating in complex acute care environments, you will be skilled at engaging multiple stakeholders, identifying opportunities and influencing commercial and clinical decision-making. You are likely to bring:

  • Proven success in NHS healthcare sales, ideally within medical devices, consumables or clinical solutions.
  • Strong account management and territory planning experience.
  • Experience selling through complex stakeholder groups, including clinical, operational and procurement decision-makers.
  • The ability to lead product evaluations, training and implementation activities.
  • A proactive, resilient and self-motivated approach, with the ability to work autonomously in a field-based role.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with confidence using CRM systems and sales data to drive performance.
  • A clinical background or clinical training would be advantageous but is not essential.

This role would suit a relationship-led sales professional who enjoys building long-term partnerships and creating value for both customers and patients.

What's on Offer

Permanent position with a competitive basic salary, dependent on the level of experience. Excellent commission structure. Company car / car allowance. Expansive corporate benefits.
