Job Description Plan, execute, and finalise audit engagements for a Charities, Leading planning and clearance meetings with clients; from planning through to completion, under the supervision of managers and partners; Preparing charity SORP accounts as part of the audit/IE assignment; Opportunity to take a manager role (reporting direct to partner) on a portfolio of independent examination clients (subject to experience); Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with relevant standards.

Opportunity to carry out ad hoc consultancy projects for clients, for example, trustee training, grant audits, VAT reviews, accounting system implementation and virtual FD work (subject to experience).

Identify and communicate audit findings and recommend process improvements.

Supervising trainees, and providing training, development and mentoring to them; Ensure adherence to deadlines and maintain high-quality standards throughout projects.

Collaborate with clients to address queries and provide tailored solutions.

Assist in the development and implementation of audit strategies and methodologies.

Stay updated on changes in accounting and auditing standards within the professional services industry.

The Successful Applicant A successful Audit Senior should have: Professional accountancy qualification (e. g., ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).

Strong knowledge of audit procedures and financial reporting standards.

Charity Audit Expereince Experience working within the professional services industry.

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet strict deadlines.

Proven ability to mentor and support junior team members.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction.

What's on Offer Competitive salary in the range of 43,000-46,000, depending on experience.

Annual discretionary performance bonus, typically between 5% to 10% of salary.
