Job DescriptionManage the preparation and monitoring of budgets, forecasts and financial reports.
Supervise the accounts team to ensure accurate and timely financial processing.
Oversee payroll and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Maintain and improve financial controls and procedures.
Manage relationships with external auditors and other stakeholders.
Provide financial advice and insights to the leadership team.
Ensure compliance with all financial and regulatory requirements.
Lead on financial projects and initiatives to support the organisation's goals.
The Successful Applicant A successful Head of Accounts should have: A relevant accounting qualification or equivalent experience.
Strong knowledge of accounting and financial management principles.
Experience in the not-for-profit sector is a plus.
Proficiency in financial software and tools.
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills. Strong leadership and communication abilities.
