Responsibilities

• Manage the preparation and monitoring of budgets, forecasts and financial reports
• Supervise the accounts team to ensure accurate and timely financial processing
• Oversee payroll and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
• Maintain and improve financial controls and procedures
• Manage relationships with external auditors and other stakeholders
• Provide financial advice and insights to the leadership team
• Ensure compliance with all financial and regulatory requirements
• Lead on financial projects and initiatives to support the organisation's goals

Key requirements

• A relevant accounting qualification or equivalent experience
• Strong knowledge of accounting and financial management principles
• Experience in the not-for-profit sector is a plus
