The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

Drives the development and delivery of new product ranges to customers within agreed product/packaging specification and critical path timelines. Collaborates closely with mills to ensure customer product and packaging, design, cost, technical quality, safety and compliance standards are met.

Collaborates with Design to drive a targeted customer approach to product development. Develop commercially viable fabrics & products in line with customer briefs & the business plans. Builds and presents customer product development presentations (PowerPoint/showroom). Lead/support the management team on mill product development and factory audit visits. Obtains cost prices from mills, calculates costing and shares prices with customers, renegotiating with mills as required. Maintains approved costing files. Ensures all customer development samples are delivered to customer on time and to agreed specification. Liaises with mills to ensure compliance, certification & production & packaging safety standards are adhered to. Responsible for all testing/certification to ensure product/packaging quality meets required customer standards. Responsible for on time receipt & delivery to customer of production samples, packaging wet proofs & shipping images. Ensure all approvals are correct to agreed specification. Lead investigations into non-conformance, including detailed investigation and provide resolutions. Liaise with customer regarding customer complaints. Advise on appropriate course of action.

Profile: Product Development, Buying experience across textiles, homeware. Motivate, mentor, coach and support wider Product Development team members (if applicable). Share product knowledge with others and foster a culture of continuous learning. Celebrate success and drive positively.
