We are seeking an experienced Organisation Design practitioner to lead and deliver functional-level organisation design reviews, working directly with Executive Directors and senior leaders. Description
Lead and deliver functional and organisational design reviews, working closely with Executive Directors and senior leaders.
Act as an internal consultant, providing expert advice and challenge on how work is structured and delivered to improve organisational effectiveness and efficiency.
Contract with senior stakeholders to agree expectations, scope, and deliverables.
Diagnose organisational design issues and develop practical, high-impact solutions.
Design and shape operating models, structures, and processes aligned with business needs.
Use data and insight to inform decision-making and guide leaders through the design process.
Ensure a co-designed approach, balancing pace and engagement to maintain ownership and momentum.
Work closely with the Head of OD to ensure alignment with broader organisational priorities.
Profile
A proven track record in organisational design, having successfully led multiple high-profile reviews and projects.
Experience working with senior leaders in the public sector, translating Org Design theory into practical outcomes.
The ability to build trust and credibility quickly with executive leaders and stakeholders.
Strong capability in moving between strategic design thinking and detailed solution development.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, using data to support design decisions.
Outstanding stakeholder engagement and communication skills, able to influence and take others on the journey.
Experience working in a project environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.
Adaptability, flexibility, and a solutions-focused mindset.
