We are proud to partner with a leading organisation to recruit an Employee Relations Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape ER strategy, support employee well-being, and ensure fair and legally compliant workplace practices in a sensitive and meaningful industry.
As Employee Relations Manager, you will:
- Provide pragmatic and commercially focused ER advice across the organisation.
- Lead on complex disciplinary, grievance, TUPE, and redundancy cases.
- Manage ACAS conciliation and employment tribunal claims, ensuring effective risk assessment and resolution.
- Coach and influence line managers to enhance people management capabilities.
- Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures in line with UK employment law.
- Analyse HR data and MI to identify risks and drive strategic interventions.
- Work closely with trade unions and employee representatives, where applicable.
Profile:
- Proven ER expertise - Strong track record handling complex ER cases, including tribunals and change management.
- Leadership & Influence - Ability to coach, mentor, and develop an ER team while influencing stakeholders.
- Regulatory Knowledge - Understanding of FCA, CMA, TUPE, redundancy, and employment law.
- Strategic Thinker - Able to analyse workforce data and implement data-driven solutions.
- Exceptional Communication - Skilled in mediation, negotiation, and relationship-building.
- Degree qualified (CIPD or equivalent experience preferred).
- Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
- Strong analytical skills and HR data interpretation experience.
