Description:
- Performing routine machinery inspections and maintenance tasks.
- Diagnosing and repairing equipment breakdowns and malfunctions.
- Supporting the installation of new machinery and equipment.
- Ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations.
- Providing input into the development of preventative maintenance strategies.
- Documenting all maintenance work for record-keeping purposes.
- Collaborating with engineering and manufacturing teams to optimise performance.
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
Profile: A successful Electrical Maintenance Engineer should have:
- Electrical qualification or experience in electrical maintenance.
- Experience working on control panels, emergency stops, circuits, and 415 motors.
- Confident at fault finding.
- Working through electrical drawings and main plant control panels.
- Apprentice trained.
- Experience with Inspection and testing 2391 (a benefit but not essential).
- Ideally be trained to the latest 18th edition wiring regulations (a benefit not essential).
- Trained to 17th edition wiring regulations as a minimum.
