Description
You'll be expected to go beyond producing numbers - challenging variances, understanding operational drivers and partnering with stakeholders to improve performance. There's also a key systems and inventory focus as the business moves to a new manufacturing ERP, alongside the opportunity to take ownership of group consolidation and reporting as you settle into the role.
Key Responsibilities
- Producing monthly management accounts.
- Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
- Stock valuation and inventory accounting.
- Working closely with manufacturing teams to understand and analyse costs.
- Identifying opportunities to improve cost control and profitability.
- Preparing information for board reporting.
- Supporting ERP and finance system improvements.
- Providing commercially focused analysis and insight to senior management.
- Working across multiple international operations and currencies.
Profile
- Qualified accountant ideally CIMA, ACCA or ACA, with proven Management Accountant experience.
- Experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A commercially minded approach.
- Knowledge of stock/inventory accounting and valuation.
Job Offer
- Salary between £65,000 and £70,000, dependent on the level of experience.
- Flexible working hours.
- 10-20% annual bonus depending on company and individual performance
