This role is with a company in the industrial and manufacturing sector based in Manchester.

Description

• Process and manage invoices and payments accurately.
• Chasing outstanding payments via phone and email.
• Maintain up-to-date records of accounts receivable transactions.
• Reconcile discrepancies or resolve payment issues efficiently.
• Monitor and follow up on overdue accounts professionally.
• Assist with month-end reporting tasks related to accounts receivable.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and customers as required.
• Support the wider finance team with administrative tasks when needed

Profile

A successful Accounts Receivable Clerk should have:

• Previous experience in an accounts receivable or similar role in accounting and finance.
• A strong understanding of basic accounting principles and processes.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data.
• Good communication skills to liaise with customers and internal teams.
• Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel.

Job Offer
