Description
- Manage the end-to-end purchase ledger process, ensuring supplier invoices are processed accurately and on time.
- Maintain supplier accounts, resolve queries, and support timely payment processing.
- Process employee expenses and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Raise customer invoices and maintain accurate sales ledger records.
- Allocate incoming payments and support effective credit control activities.
- Reconcile bank accounts and investigate any discrepancies.
- Assist with cash flow monitoring and treasury-related activities.
- Support month-end close activities, including reconciliations and reporting tasks.
- Assist with audit requests and maintain accurate financial records.
- Identify opportunities to improve existing processes and enhance efficiency within the finance function.
- Provide support on a range of finance projects and business initiatives as required.
Profile
- Previous experience in a transactional finance role, with exposure to both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
- Ideally 3+ years' experience within a finance environment.
- Experience working in a fast-paced and evolving business would be advantageous.
- Strong Excel skills and confidence using accounting or ERP systems; experience with Business Central would be beneficial but is not essential.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage a varied workload and meet competing deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accuracy.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
- A positive, team-oriented approach and willingness to support the wider finance function when required.
Job Offer
- Daily rate equivalent of around Β£42,000 - Β£48,000 per annum.
