Description

Reporting to the Finance Director, the Financial Controller plays a pivotal role in managing the day to finances of this growing organisation.

The role will include;

• Manage the preparation of financial statements and reports.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.
• Provide financial insights to support decision-making.
• Review and improve financial controls and processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to address financial queries.
• Supervise and support the finance team during the interim period.
• Assist with audits and liaise with external advisors as required.

Profile

A successful Interim Financial Controller should have:

• Qualified Accountant with ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
• Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in financial reporting and analysis.
• Excellent people management skills.
• Confidence in managing budgets and forecasts.
• Excellent problem-solving and organisational skills.
• The ability to lead and support a team effectively.

Job Offer

• Salary equivalent up to £65,000.
• Hybrid working - 3 days in the office
• Initial 6 month interim role with potential for extension or a Permanent contract
