We're working with a fast-growing organisation in Cardiff Bay seeking a Transactional Finance Team Leader to oversee a high-performing finance operations team. This is an excellent opportunity to lead Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Credit Control functions while playing a key role in improving processes and supporting business growth.
Description
The Role
Reporting into senior finance leadership, you'll be responsible for managing the day-to-day performance of the transactional finance team, ensuring service levels are maintained and continuous improvements are delivered across finance operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop teams across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Credit Control
- Monitor KPIs, team performance and service delivery
- Identify and implement process improvements and efficiencies
- Support month-end reporting activities
- Manage escalated supplier and customer queries
- Coach, mentor and develop team members
- Support finance system enhancements and automation projects
- Ensure controls and procedures are maintained
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the wider business
Profile
About You
- Previous experience leading or supervising a transactional finance team
- Strong background across AP, AR and Credit Control
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience driving process improvements and efficiencies
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong systems and reporting skills
