Description
This is a newly created role within a Not for Profit organisation based in the Cardiff area.
The Management Accountant will play a key role in the Financial Management and Monthly Reporting for this organisation.
The role will include;
- Prepare and review monthly management accounts and financial reports.
- Provide accurate financial analysis to support organisational planning.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and organisational policies.
- Support the year-end audit process by preparing necessary documentation.
- Collaborate with department heads to manage cost control and financial performance.
- Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Contribute to process improvements within the finance function.
Profile
A successful Interim Management Accountant should have:
- A strong background in accounting and financial management, preferably in the not-for-profit sector.
- Qualified Accountant or QBE with relevant skills and experience.
- Proficiency in financial reporting and analysis.
- Experience with budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and standards.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Confidence using accounting software and Excel.
Job Offer
- Salary c£46,000 - £50,000.
