Job Description
- Define and deliver the group-wide systems strategy across PLC, SCADA, and CMMS platforms
- Lead standardisation of control systems, architectures, and maintenance frameworks
- Oversee plant control systems including design, commissioning, and upgrades
- Own asset management and CMMS to drive maintenance efficiency and asset lifecycle optimisation
- Ensure high availability and reliability for 24/7 operational environments
- Manage system integrations, upgrades, and continuous improvements
- Develop documentation, training, and capability across sites
- Lead change management and stakeholder engagement across operational teams
- Manage vendors, integrators, and service contracts
- Ensure systems meet safety, compliance, cybersecurity, and data governance standards
- Support data reporting, analytics, and operational decision-making
The Successful Applicant
- Proven experience with PLC and SCADA systems in industrial or process environments
- Strong knowledge of CMMS/EAM and asset lifecycle management
- Experience leading multi-site system implementations and upgrades
- Background in 24/7 or safety-critical operations (e.g. energy, utilities, manufacturing)
- Strong stakeholder management across operational and senior leadership levels
- Experience managing vendors and systems integrators
- Understanding of system architecture, data platforms, and digital systems
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and OT/IT environments
- Familiarity with reporting tools such as Power BI
- Degree in IT, Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
