Job Description

  • Manage and ensure compliance with corporate tax regulations and filings locally in UK and internationally.
  • Develop and implement tax-efficient strategies to support business objectives.
  • Oversee VAT compliance and reporting processes.
  • Provide advice on tax implications for business transactions and projects.
  • Collaborate with external advisors and auditors on tax-related matters.
  • Identify opportunities for tax savings and process improvements.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations impacting the industrial and manufacturing sectors.
  • Prepare and present tax reports to senior management.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Tax Manager should have:

  • Professional tax qualifications (e.g., CTA, ATT, or equivalent) preferred not essential
  • Professional Qualification – ACCA, ACA
  • Experience in UK and international corporate tax compliance and planning.
  • Knowledge of VAT regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Proficiency in relevant tax software and tools – Onesource
