The Head of HR will lead the strategy and operations of 2 successful yet growing business functions across Retail and Services. Your role will play a key part in the development and execution of innovative people-focused initiatives across Org Design, Change, Performance, Retention, and Engagement.
The role requires national travel across multiple sites and working 3 days in the office in Birmingham per month.

Description
- Lead, develop and implement the HR vision and strategy across the business, partnering with the senior leadership team to support the growth of the business.
- Coaching leadership teams to drive excellence and high performance across their teams.
- Ownership of the talent development and succession planning process – creating solutions to develop and build future leaders.
- Partnering with talent acquisition to build future pipelines and strategies for retention and succession planning.
- Promoting high levels of engagement through actioning feedback and implementing initiatives that drive an inclusive environment.
- Supporting the business with change management and organisation design in line with business growth.
Profile
A successful Head of HR should have:
- Proven experience in a similar role, working with a blue-collar workforce.
- A commercial and people-focused HR background in a similar level role.
- A strong mix of strategic and operational experience.
- Excellent communication skills at all levels of the business, from operational teams to senior leadership.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to strategise at both business and operational levels.
