Client Details

We're seeking an HR professional to join a collaborative People team on a maternity cover contract.

This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with managers across the business, providing expert HR support, managing employee relations matters, and contributing to a range of people-focused projects and improvement initiatives.

Based in Solihull with travel to other sites required.

Travel to other sites is fully expensed, with Solihull serving as your base office.

Description

As a Senior HR Advisor, you'll be a trusted partner to managers, supporting them across the full employee life-cycle and helping to ensure a positive and consistent employee experience.

Key responsibilities include

  • Providing day-to-day HR advice and guidance to managers across the business
  • Managing employee relations cases, including investigations, disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance matters
  • Supporting the full employee life-cycle, from on-boarding through to off-boarding
  • Advising managers on HR policies, procedures and best practice
  • Supporting HR projects, change initiatives and continuous improvement activities
  • Managing and updating cases through the organisation's HR ticketing system
  • Assisting with the development and implementation of people processes and initiatives
  • Profile
  • Previous experience within a generalist Advisor role
  • Strong employee relations experience and confidence managing cases independently
  • A good understanding of employment law and HR best practice
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a varied workload
